Now ZDNet is calling Java one of the world's most annoying applications. I've mentioned a bug at sun.com to help with some aspects of this, but the fact this really is a serious. Please keep the votes coming for this bug, as we really need to get these issues sorted out for the upcoming relaunch of Java in the browser with Java 6u10.
It is great that Sun has chosen to address the technical issues with Java in the browser, but please address the business side as well. I understand that the decision to shove a programming language and lots of branding in people's face (which they hate) was a business decision and not a technical one.
Perhaps with enough votes Sun will see the problem?
