Long time ago..
when i was a kid hehe, I believe that JCP will host all the Java related specification... the center that host all and bring the tech to Sun's Java website, from Struts, WebWork to JavaServerFaces. and so on...
There are also the WS*, hosted in WS-I, or OASIS, or another standard body, hugh.. how can there are a lot people make money from standard...
now, we know there is a core war between Java modular (which we know there will be a versioning...??), and also there is OSGI that have a modular and versioning specification.
I see a little interesting marketshare between OSGI....
OSGI run on JVM, and we can develop a modular application there...this is look like another competitor of JavaSDK....
I just think will JVM + OSGI + Spring + Spring DM is a cool next modern SDK or JVM stack... just put the servlet specification, and make it become container, will become a new next Enterprise container on Java...
This sound like Java 7 + Servlet container.... will JCP release the IoC specification....
OSGI will you work faster than Java modular???
we know in the market there is Log4J and Sun release Java Logging... and make the logging become standard by putting in the JCP..
will there is a JSR for Spring.. ..
